Trip Planner
#1. Somehow, Trip Planner has lost all (4) of my trips that I had spent considerable time making. My account is still active, my profile is still there, but the planner simply tells me I have no trips.
#2. I feel the need to vent about the Planner, in general. It does a horrible job of making the trips RV friendly. (Unlike the original planner). I just put in a trip from Auburn, MA to Nags Head NC and it gave me a route that is horrible and, more importantly illegal. It sends me over parkways that are only open to passenger cars, with some clearances of 8' and it takes me on the George Washington Bridge, which is the last route place in the Northeast that I want to drive my coach. Granted, the map displays warnings on the height restrictions on the parkway and the need to use the upper level of the GWB. However, there is no alternative, other than to "drag the route to avoid". Fine, since I know the alternatives, having made the trip before, but what if I did not.
Why would a trip planning program geared to RVs, use these choices?
There are other issues, but mym point would be - the old planner, where one could select choices was much better, and I never had it make a major mistake.
