Often there is no signal light to get out and trying to cross traffic can sometimes be hard to do in such a large vehicle that will not dart out like my car can, and if I attempt to do, then half the******in the rv is in the back... :DTinyoneRV wrote:
Had the same think happen in two locations recently but not in others I should have called, but just too lazy i guess. Also, by the time i get home I've lost the receipt. i have a Class B so I use the auto pumps. maybe at some stations we have to use the rV islands? I know some states (Wisconsin) won't allow a discount on gas but my problems occurred in Maryland and Ohio.. I don't think this is a conspiracy by GS or FJ; I'm a great believer in the "s**t happens" theory.
Respectfully disagree with Old Biscuit. i expect i could drive into town and maybe find cheaper fuel; however, when I exit the interstate the cluster of gas stations always display the same retail price.. FJ the same as the others in the block.
Before or when you get off the freeway, punch up gas buddy. Many times less than a quarter mile away (just over the hill) fuel may be 20, 30,or 40 cents per gallon cheaper. I avoid the truck stops like the plague.
We have gas stations at the interstate where I live. The further out you drive, it's not worth it to go and try to save a penny. If there's a flying, I will go there as I mnetioned to the ease. Plus I can save more, depending on which card I use. 3 cents vs 6 cents.
