I just returned from a 4200 mile trip & stopped @ Pilot/FlyingJ almost exclusively, only had the no discount problem once, when I went in & complained they gave me the discount as Ca$h.
The complaint I do have, is their shutting the pump down at various dollar amounts ($150, $125, $100 & $75) Seventy Five bucks geeze, at todays prices most of the pickups & SUVs take more than that for a fill-up. Yes you can reswipe and continue, but if it's too many times (3) the dreaded "See The Cashier" message comes up, defeating the whole pay at the pump theory, the buck a gallon days are gone. Like many, my rig has a 75gallon tank, If Marcus can negotiate 3cents a gallon possibly he could sweet talk them into raising the limit to something more realistic.
