Lets first look at the issue. The original poster is on this discussion topic ( http://www.rv.net/forum/index.cfm/fuseaction/thread/tid/28291873.cfm ) and stated "I was stranded on the side of the road for 5 days!" Um, no he wasn't, in a later post he said he left his trailer on the side of the road.
Here are the real questions - how many times did he attempt to get RA to his trailer. Could his "phase" claim be simply one of the standard messages we've all heard such as "Due to the extremely high volume of assistance calls we are unable to fulfill your request immediately." We all know what the weather has been like this past winter and there were definitely times when ANY call center could have been flooded to the max. Did the original poster EVER call back over those 5 days and attempt to get help again?
This is really sounding like the original poster, ptwymer, is really ticked off that his lack of preventative maintenance on his trailer resulted in dry bearings and a freeze up on one wheel and then finding out he couldn't get help in the next 30 second sound bite AND heaven forbid would have to pay for the repairs.
RA is a contract. I'm not buying the "unwritten policy".
