Unauthorized credit card charges

What the hell are you doing? I don't renew my membership until around late April. You just charged my credit card for $109.95 on 2/22/2018 without my permission. If I hadn't checked my bank accounts I would have been past due. You tried this little trick earlier on son's  Good Sam account. I called GS and they took it off and I told them to delete the credit card number. Are you so desperate for money? I just talked with Jeff #2016 at GS services and he said that he would reverse the charges and delete the credit card number, but he  couldn't send me a confirming email. Do I have to go through this again with my wife's membership? How about somebody in management contacting me to discuss the ongoing problem! I usually pay by check, but sometimes call it in.

So you REread all that fine print in the original agreement and it said what about renewal charges? And when? Based on the agreement you made 2 or 3 years ago I’ll bet they had your permission. Welcome to the real world.

Did you authorize auto payment from your card?  If so, they can charge for the next year when they want to.

If you used a CC last year the small print says they will auto charge the CC this year. Doesn't say when.

That is why I pay by check on the RV road Help as the same small print is on it.
That check is only one of the 2 I write out every year.

Companies do this, and also banks.  They gladly reverse charges, but think of how many people don't catch this or don't make the call!  See how this works?Brian
