Very Poor Service With Good Sam Roadside Service

We have had Good Sam Roadside Service for a few years now. We have only used it twice. The first time my wife was left out in the hot sun for 5 hours while the service tried to find someone to tow are locked up Subaru. The latest time, yesterday, our Prius was going into neutral on highway 99. I managed to coast into a Valero in Galt and called the 800 number. After a long hot, wait on the phone they said to ask the attendant if I could park my car there. There was no service available. The Valero attendance said my car would be towed in violation. The Service was no help.
I don't understand why Good Sam would be associated with such a company. We pay and get no help in rough situations.

  • good same just calls there contracted service shop. BUT they have no idea what happens after that. the shop could come right away or when they feel like it. IF I ever had GS I,d bug them every hour. BUT since I read all the stories on here about bad service I bought coach net ,used three times service just great, guess it just depends on how you screen your contractor.
