I have never called GS for help.
BUT
I pay big $$ to a road side assistance company for PEACE OF MIND. I want to know if I need roadside assistance it is a phone call away.
Unfortunately, I have read too many stories of good paying customers of GS being left on the side of the road to fend for themselves. Granted, many issues are later "resolved" behind the scenes, but that does NOT give me any warm and fuzzies over getting help when I need it.
It has been due to this that I have signed up with a roadside assistance program.
PS Good Sam - it would go a long way to convincing folks you really do want to offer good service if you did some little things like updating your mobile app (Android). It has not been updated since May 24, 2013.
