What exactly does Road Assistance Pay for
If there is a suspension failure like springs, hangers or bearings. Does Good Sam Road Assistance pay for anything or do they simply arrange to have someone show up?

On October 5, 2014, on the way back from an awesome vacation in Myrtle Beach, SC, we experienced a blowout on I-40. While at Myrtle Beach, my wife and I had visited Camping World and had purchased the Good Sam Membership, thinking that we had purchased Roadside Assistance as well....apparently it was not explained to us by the sales clerk good enough for me to understand that I was only buying the privilege of calling myself a Good Sam member. We found out the hard way that we did NOT have Roadside Assistance while sitting in the emergency lane of I-40 with traffic flying by. We have since enrolled properly... I hope... ;-)
HOWEVER... with that said, even though we were not covered by Roadside Assistance, I have to say, the girl on the phone with us from Good Sam Dispatch was top notch!! She explained that we did not have the coverage, but was still able to help us by dispatching Black's Tires out of Castle Hayne, NC to bring two new tires and install them roadside....eventually getting us home safely. I can't say enough good things about our experience with Good Sam that day as well as the professional technician that was dispatched from Black's Tires.
My only disappointment was that we did not know that we had not purchased Roadside Assistance at the time. An expensive lesson to us that we need to verify the fine print in ALL transactions, but one that we fortunately lived to tell about!! Travel On!!
