Forum Discussion
- OzlanderExplorerA slow leak doesn't require a service truck.
- pianotunaNomad IIICAA still allows 5 calls per year per member.
- rockhillmanorExplorerThis is one post that I would REALLY like GS to POST on this forum what their policy is on:
"how many times within a year you can use them"
AND
"their cancellation policy regarding the amount of calls per customer"
We are seeing a lot of members posting about being cancelled sometimes after just 2 calls. - jepalmerExplorerI check tire pressure and lug nuts every morning we travel, and tire temperature every time we stop during the day, so the "maintain" comment is uninformed. Also, the trailer (and tires) were new in October 2014. (Open Range 349RLS)
1. First time out with trailer, we had a slow leak due to bad rim. Tire change #1, (11/14).
2. In Montana, the truck tire went soft (bad valve) on I-80 and GS was called. Call #2. (6/15)
3. Outside of Tampa, a tire blew while we were on I-75 between Jersey barriers..... Call #3. (9/15)
4. Outside of Charlotte, a tire on same side of trailer blew on I-77. It took GS 3 hours to respond on a week day 10 miles outside of the largest population center between Atlanta and Washington. Call #4. (10/15) - darsbenExplorer II

in the past year GoodSam has changed 4 tires for me.
And they have canceled my policy
They can go do an anatomical impossibility
I know you do not have 4 tires on your person BUT surely your vehicles do have four tires.
We would be interested in a whole story rather than your sensationalistic headline and no real story.
Please fill in the details as you know them and tell us what good sam states; Then we will have a full story to judge by. - sorenExplorer

I really do not like anything associated with CW but 4 tires in a year, I would have cancelled your contract.
X2, by the second tire you should of had at least a faint light going off in your head. No roadside assistance company should be loosing money for somebody that won't maintain their equipment. I have a buddy who is a mechanic. He likes to keep a fleet of fifteen year old wrecks on the road. He mistakenly believed that AAA would share his vision, and tow his junkers back to the house, on a regular basis. They did it for the first year, then dropped him.
I have Coach-Net and am thriller that it's available when, and if, my coach breaks. I don't want to drop a grand, or two, to drag the beast in to the shop. However, it hasn't happened yet, and hopefully never will, since I am pretty serious about maintaining the thing. If you have ever seen a tire carve a six foot radius out of the side of an RV, or passed the scene of a coach laying on it's side after an uncontrollable front tire blowout, it might be a bit of incentive to replace them before they go? - bob34787ExplorerI really do not like anything associated with CW but 4 tires in a year, I would have cancelled your contract.
- Wills6_4_HemiExplorerHis Millions His Rules. Lol
- kalynzooExplorerI think you will find that AAA and CoachNet also have restrictions on how many times you can call for service. Last time I checked (not sure) AAA only allows 2 calls in a year then the service is at your expense.
- EV2ExplorerI believe he is referring to the medical term " cranial rectal inversion."
