Why all the GSRA cards ?

After YEARS of getting duplicate Roadside Assistance cards (anywhere from 4 to 8 within a few days), I finally called the number on the back of the card to let them know that they are spending useless money every year on multiple mailings?

I ended up talking to someone from India who was quite flippant about this. (Big sigh) He tells me they get many calls like this, so I asked if they don't care that Good Sam is spending all this money with multiple duplicate mailings of exactly the same cards and information packet? His response was "you're going to have to deal with it".

Nice attitude..

I have seen compliants of employee attitude and incompetence over the years both on these and other forums, but this is the first time experiencing it. Maybe Señor Profit needs a little more attention on employee waste in THIS company?

PS- Both envelopes were slit open on BOTH ends. Either someone was looking to see what they were, or the Good Sam mail robot needs adjustment.

  • It didn't bother me, but I just renewed my roadside and I received three mailings with 2 cards each (6 cards). Thought it was a little odd. At least I have spares.

    I don't think it does. I have received 2 sets of cards for my membership and have used the app for a year and a half.
