I'm still not sure what the answer is.
If it's in storage, with a flat, and you have an inflated spare, will GSERS change the tire, free of charge?
Vanesa said yes just above.
Vanesa did not say the OP could choose the service company and have all tires replace while they were out there anyway and be fully reimbursed by GSERS.
No, she didn't say "yes". She simply quoted the FLAT TIRE SERVICE section of the Platinum Roadside Assistance Brochure, which is what I'm doing again.
"FLAT TIRE SERVICE
A service technician will replace a flat tire with your inflated spare or we’ll tow your vehicle to the nearest professional service center. On occasion and whenever possible, we will make arrangements for the Member to purchase a tire(s) for delivery to the disablement scene. In these cases Good Sam Roadside Assistance will pay for delivery of tire only, Member is responsible for all additional costs including cost of tire(s), mounting, balancing, other parts or labor, tax and any
other fees. Note: Does not include seasonal tire changes. Member responsible for parts and labor."
So if you have an inflated spare, you're good to go. If not, they cover their costs of delivering the tire, but that's it. You pay for everything else. It's the added text that didn't apply in this case, that made me question the entire answer. Clear as mud.
