Year Model VS Chassis year

If you purchase a policy from GS be careful about the year model you give. I baught my 2003 Model MH in NY (I have a NY State official document that says this) in 2002 that was built on a 2002 chassis...

I would think that one would give the model year as shown on the vehicle registration.
