Ok most of the furnaces run off propane right ? So what powers the fan IF you don't have shore power OR your generator on .....does the coach batteries run the furnace fan ?...if so for how long befor...

Another vote for catalytic heater. Used an Olympian catalytic in our first motorhome (only one battery), current motorhome has two batteries and if we are boondocking for just a couple of days we just use the furnace. If longer we use a buddy catalytic during the day and furnace at night. Turn the temp down to 50 degrees and wear our winter jammers.
