There is not a "lock Valve" as there is not a lock... the hydraulic cylinder holds it in, just like your front slide have no lock. Next to the step there is a hydraulic power pack with several 12V solenoid valves... one of which will have two lines going to the cylinder on the gen slide. You can unplug the two wires going to this valve and check for 12V going to the coil and check the ohms of the coil. Before taking the valves apart make sure you have a working electrical system... a good coil and 12V going to it. If you do not have a meter, I would try pushing the switch to open/close 10+ times.
You can also call Monaco. I spend sometime on Monacoers too for whatever that's worth. I do not agree with the info from the June 12 question as the slide outs would be giving problems too.
