06 Dynamax Dynaquest water system

I see one external inlet for water, to connect to city water and manual says leave water pump off when connected to city water. I get that but how do you fill the tank? Says also not to overfill. Do not see any switches or valves redirecting water to tank or coach.
Help, please.
Thanks.
  • Terrific electrician with RV experience came over last week, figured out that steps were jammed because P.O. (Previous Owner) had wrapped bottom step in plastic carpet and it was so thick it locked up the steps. Took steps apart and had to resent motor and sensors and he had it all done in an hour and best of all? Charge was USD about $40 significantly less than shop rates in U.S. yes? Mexico may have its cultural differences but cost of living is a benefit.

Thanks, guys! "Stupid is as stupid does." Forgot that there's a gravity fill on other side of coach. Always had all water access in one compartment on DS, including access to water pump, etc. Duh.......Now, question is about electric steps that are not working. Where is the fuse box for the coach or circuit breakers? Still learning about this 06 Dynaquest, slowly it seems.

lots of times there is a 30 amp inline fuse right by the step motor and wiring. There are several reasons steps wont work besides fuse
two common ones are make sure 12V disconnect is on and makes sure the magnetic door switch is functioning correctly.also make sure the batterys are charged up and not low from sitting

I thought most rvs have a separate hookup for water supply and an external fitting for filling.

some do and some do not. mine has a single inlet. You turn a handle that switches a 2 way water valve. one way for city and one for fill tank

  • My coach has a gravity fill on the side accessed via a locked compartment door. I've never used it as I also have a diverter valve in the bay that houses the electric hose and cord reels. You might look in that bay for a valve that fills the tank. Remember to turn it OFF when it's full....Dennis

  • Do you have a small water door on the rear of the coach above driver side tail light. If so you have a gravity fill.
  • How about posting a picture of your wet bay......must be a 'fill' on it as there doesn't seem to be a gravity fill port on side of coach
  • there should be a diverter valve somewhere (if you don't have a separate tank fill).

on coaches w/ one water connection you turn a diverter valve re-direct the water flow into tanks
