I'm replacing an old Power Gear Slide Relay with a new Relay...here's the instructions from Power Gear:
REPLACEMENT INSTRUCTIONS FROM 141098 (OLD RELAY) TO 141130 (NEW RELAY).
Step 5: Locate and move the center wire on the slideout switch from ground to 12 VDC source through a 3 amp (preferred) fast acting standard automotive fuse.
When I wrote Power Gear, they said:
"The center wire on the wall switch is currently a ground, this needs to be removed and a separate 12vdc source found in the coach and wired to the center pin on the wall switch, this needs to be fused with a 3 amp fuse. The old control was a ground switched control, this new one is a 12vdc switched control."
I hope this clears up any confusion.
