We had one of the Local DFW Texas(MHSRV area also) come to our dealership to do that $1300 inspection. He spent about 7 hours inspecting the motorhome(Diesel 40 ft). We already had the refer on for 24 hours before he arrived. During the day, I bird dogged him. He was very thorough going over the items. He took his time. That inspection included the fluid analysis, but I was told by him it takes a few weeks to get the results back. NOT good if you do not want to wait 2 weeks. Is it worth it? It depends on if you are flying across country to buy sight unseen. It is VERY hard to find anyone qualified to do BOTH Chassis and Coach complete inspections. This Inspection service does NOT drive the motorhome. WHY would you want to pay $1300 and they do not drive to evaluate the chassis and handling. I would think for $1300, I would get a 50 mile inspection drive. These inspectors are NOT real RV Technicians, They take a course for 5 days. Wow, What experience that gives you. They coach their on line language to make you feel they are part of the RVIA, which they are NOT. They also are NOT held liable for anything they miss or do not find on their inspections. If I did an inspection, I would be able to give a ball park figure for any possible repairs needed on items that I find wrong. THEY do not. Especially on the chassis items. I would want a chassis expert Technician, to look and give me ball park repair costs, so I would know what a fair price to negotiate. Doug
