Hi,
We spent 2 years researching all of the small Class B's and Class C's that we could find, at dealers, RV shows, campgrounds, factory tours, etc.
We narrowed it down to Phoenix Cruiser and Jayco as the best bang for the buck in that size..
We loved the way the Phoenix was constructed, the attention to detail, and the ability to customize it. However, it didn't have ducted air conditioning, it had VERY LITTLE outside storage, and the biggest downside was that it only had a one year warranty, and no dealer network.
Even though we couldn't customize the build, we finally went with the Jayco because it has tons of storage, a great dealer network, the folks we met on the factory tour were very impressive, and most of all, it has a two year warranty!
My advice would be that when you narrow it down to a few choices that meet your needs, pick the one with the longest warranty! All RV's have issues out of the factory, so don't limit your self to just one year to get them resolved. You don't use a motorhome any where near as often as a car, so it can take a while for everything to turn up.
Whatever you decide, be happy and safe camping and traveling! :)
