1976 Minnie Winnie P30 Fuel Line Diagram

Hello All! I am new to this forum and new to RV's. I need help solving a problem I have with a 1976 p30 Chevrolet Minnie Winnie. I can not find a diagram for the fuel hoses as built by Winnebago. Does any one know where to find a complete diagram of the hoses?

Apparently, because the vehicle arrives from the Chevy plant as a stripped down chassis the drawing in the GM book only shows the line running to the front of the vehicle. I paid a mechanic to drop the tank and replace everything going to the engine. What I did not know at the time was that he left one of the other outlets on the top open. When I filled the tank with gas it leaked all the over the ground from a small brass elbow on top of the tank towards the front. Upon inspection I see several lines running up out of the top of the tank that need to be replaced. I am assuming that one goes to the generator, maybe one to an overflow???? and maybe one to a breather of some kind. I am certain if I had the schematic I could replace them myself. Thanks in advance for any help you can give.

  • Hello, You will get a lot of "nothing like that here" when parts folks hear 1976. You will do better asking for parts by part numbers whenever you can as many parts are used on multiple year trucks.

The Winnebago part has nothing to do with the chassis parts. Best to ask for parts by the truck equivelent. (for some front end and suspension parts you need to specify motorhome or minimotorhome chassis.
  • Well thanks for the info. The vin number I have probably tells me that it is a G30 but I was going from some notes from the previous owner. Here is the VIN number from Chevy CPL3263316533 6/76. Then there is a Winnebago Forest City Iowa number that reads 10059G1 77561 8/76 and Model Number MW25CR GVWR 11000 GAWR Front 4000 Rear 7500. I had help from a local GM dealer with understanding the designation. I was trying to find out the gas tank size and the parts I needed but had a dead end when I wanted parts.
  • I thought that more recently the p30 was a Class A chassis and Minnie Winnies were class C.
