1977 Argosy Motorhome

Here is a picture of my vintage rig. The (normally reliable) Beetle's fuel pump died on it's first trip out (fixed now). The Beetle towed great. The Argosy 20 has a Chevy 454 so the power is there. We weren't far from home so we dropped it off and continued on with the trip down to Pigeon Forge, TN.

WOW, I got to say it again WOW, that is one great MH, you found a diamond in a platinum setting with this one. Congratulations!

Nothing "found" about that unit. ;) Lots of hard work. It was in workable shape when we bought it but we've been getting it fixed up for three years. We had it painted down in Florida and we've been doing a bunch of other work ourselves. Vintage RVs are a labor of love.

  • Very, very nice setup.
I like the vintage motorhomes. They have way more class than the new units.
Thanks for sharing and enjoy your travels. :)
