When to comes to carpentry I am pretty handy. It's just that this is our first rv. So I wasn't sure where to start and what to use on the roof mainly. I figured I would need to make sure the roof is sealed and there are not any leaks before I do anything to the inside.
We found an active roof leak while remodeling our motorhome. I looked at the roof and although it looked good, something obviously wasn't. I took it to a local "Cheap" repair shop. They took all the gook that was on the seams and the nonsense up there and gave us a fresh roof that we can feel good about.
I felt it best to have it done. I don't have to tools or desire to be up on my roof scraping stuff.
As for the rest of this project you can find the details on our blog. It's a fun task of building out your motorhome to be what you want and will enjoy.
