Open a free account at a parking site like Photobucket.com. You can reduce the size there. Or, you can reduce the size locally (on your computer at home) with many free photo editing programs available before trying to upload them here. Even MS's old 'Paint' program will let you shrink them...click on 'Image' then 'Attributes' and enter 800 X 600. Click on 'Pixels'. Save with new name.

Yep photo bucket works. Then use the IMG tags.

what you drove was a flxible clipper. I had one with the straight 8 Gave it to a friend. My Flxible is a 1973 Newlook. with an 8v71 Detroit with an Allison VS-2 It carries the mail

Yeah I had that problem when I lived in Havelock NC. I had my 40 foot bus in parked in front of the house. I was at the end of the street. But I had to find a place to park it. that was one of the major reasons for moving out of there and on 40 acres in Mo. The Flxible badge is worth something yes. not sure how much but there is a yahoo group or a group named Flxnuts or something like that and there are people that restore the old Flxible clippers and starliners and such that there will be someone that would love to have it. But love the old 40s Flxibles and the badge that they had were beautiful. Mine is a 1973 transit coach but it was converted to be a casino bus, has modified slot machines in it for slot tournaments. they don't work . so I will take them all out and finish the conversion. It has two roof A/Cs on top and 50 electrical system that is 220V but can strap the two buses to make it 11030 amp. Just need a diesel generator furniture a head and that would be an awesome RV. tempted to start working on that.

I am currently waxing by hand and maybe a buffer now and then and have not come across any soft spots or wiggles, really solid. It was kept inside when stored and only has 48,000 miles.I know the guy that I bought it from and he said there were no leaks and so far I haven't seen anything except around either a marker light in the front or the windshield and I have had them taken care of. I want to go some where, anywhere, Can I drive it 1/2 waxed? LOL

On a side note I saw a city vehicle in front of our driveway this AM and he was making notes about something so I looked on line for City codes and it clearly states that I can park it in the driveway in one paragraph and the next says if its over 22 feet you can't store in driveway. I have been parking it there since last year. I have a corner lot and it sounds like I get a pass because of it. So now I have something to look for in the mail besides my MH and Boating magazine and of course BILL'S:?

It is a 1982, I have heard of delaminating walls on some rigs, not sure about that year. the seller claims the walls are good no bubbles or waves when looking at the side in the light. yes the price is right for my friend. I was offering my Flxible for a trade on another Holiday Rambler built in 1982 with a different bedroom layout. no rely so I figure if this Pace Arrow has issues like wall problems that are not repairable. I would transfer the stuff to my Flxible and figure why trade when this bus cruises at 75 and gets 8 mpg. I will keep incase someday the Holiday Rambler or the Pace Arrow dies.

IF you are looking at a Pace Arrow, you need to look for delamination. While most coaches of that era may delaminate, Fleetwood had a pretty serious problem with it. Not sure when their worst problems started, but pretty much mid 80s into the early 90s, it is a very common problem. Delamination is when the side wall has soft spots that sag away from the side of the coach. This is caused by water intrusion into the wall, which rots the wood luan layer, so the glass skin is no longer attached to anything. You will often see wavy sides, or sagging sides, especially under windows and seams. Some will try to tell you that it is no big deal, but it is a huge deal. Not only does water intrusion mean mold, but it also means that the wall framing can rot/rust/corrode away. I have seen coaches where the whole wall had detached from the base of the coach. The owner had no idea the extent of the problem. If it has no delamination, then it could be from a time period before they started having problems. If it has any bubbles or soft spots, it will be the biggest curse you have ever received - unless you just strip it for appliances and parts to install in the Flxible.
