1990 GB Cruise Master structure

I'm a newbie semi retiring and looking to hit the road for extended touring this fall.

I will have many questions regarding mods and greatly appreciate any advice form the experienced group.

I have purchased a 1990 GB Cruise Master on the Ford Chassis with the 460. Great rig so far, only 32000 on the clock and mechanically sound.

Any help would be appreciated in finding drawings or specifications of the structure particularly the upper structure as I am about to begin outfitting the rig with 6-800 watts of solar and lithium batteries.

I am looking in particular for the roof superstructure, types of materials, dimensions of and between struts for attachment of panel hardware.

  • Beats me, but I'd try over here http://www.georgieboyclub.com

    Good luck to you.

Thanks, I have and tied registering and account, I then noticed after having 3 activation emails returned that posts showing were 3+ years old.
  • I see my picture of how GB Cruise Master is built isn't showing up now (did at the begining) cause of PhotoSuxit trying to make money.

Hopefully you saw it and got what you needed, If not you can PM me your e-mail address then I can send you an attachment of what I got.

  • Thanks. I am aware as in my original post that it is on the Ford chassis with the 460.

What I need is info as to where I can find structural coach info for roof trusses etc.
  • Be aware that your GB might be an Oshkosh chassis or Ford chassis with 460, in 1990. So your MH could be a Ford F53 chassis or a Oshkosh chassis. Ford chassis will have EFI, E4OD transmission, with over drive and 16" tires. Oshkosh will have a carb, C6 3 speed tranny and 19.5 tires. Freightliner now owns Oshkosh.
