1993 Coachman. No hazard, turn, or brake lights working

Good Morning All;

Have a 93 coachman catalina sport on a Ford Econoline 350 chassie. I have no hazard lights, turn signals or brake lights. What I've tried:
- Checked all fuses in fuse panel under steering wheel & fuses on the panel located under the bed in bedroon. All good.
- Replaced multi function switch
- Bought a hazard fuse (round canister), however the fuse panel under the steering wheel does not have wiring/clips to attach the canister to, although clearly the fuse panel was designed to accept the canister (possibly std fues panel for other econolines)?
- All other lights work. Headlights & side markers.

Unrelated. Whats the purpose of the battery under the floor (battery box mounted to the frame) located under the staris where you enter the RV?

Thanks, much appreciated

  • You have to have a break in the wire. The turn signal, brakes, and 4 way flasher all go to the same bulb filament, so that wire has to be broke.
    I think ford use to use red in color for that one, but I could be wrong.

    Good Luck With It, Brian
