1993 Cobra alternator problems
New member, second post. My dads rig, 1993 Phoenix by Cobra. P30 chassis, 454 engine. He's gone through 3 alternators in about 10K miles, that last 2 went out during a 7,500 mile, coast-coast trip...

I believe yours is to new to have this type of alternator. You might want to check if you purchased it used. I had some other fun because of things that were done by owners trying to fix things with what the parts guy said was the right part.
What year was your old rig? This one is 1993.
