I have discovered that the original AC unit had a small solar panel on the top that charged the house batteries. When the unit was replaced the line was disconnected. Inside the new AC unit is the power supply line that feeds the BCC from the old solar panel. Can I use this line with a new solar panel and is this a good option or should I set up a solar system from scratch?
