Hi,
Check the shift handle. There should be a overdrive button on the end of the handle, or a switch on the dash to shut off overdrive. My 97 has the switch on the end of the shifter handle, while I think that 90 - 95 or 96 might have had a switch on the dash to shut it off.
You should have the 4 speed that I have in my motorhome. I have a 97 Bounder with 460" engine and F-53 chassis.
Of course if you have the Chevy center on the steering wheel, you have a GM chassis with 454 engine and 4 speed.
