For a motorhome of that age, be sure to have the owner show you the operation of all the systems. Check that generator and all electrical stuff works. Check the plumbing. Check the date of the tires. Of course, ask about maintenance records.
I think there are a lot of amazing deals out there for motorhomes of this general age. You can really get a lot for a relatively small amount of money. You just have to make sure you're not getting a basketcase.
