Meanwhile back at the ranches, there's herd's of P30 - 32 chassis and doing extremely well, just as ours has been. Can't hardly beat the Big Block Chevy for the engine of choice either. As for a lot of issues, the house manufacture had a lot to do with more than what some might think, including engine cooling.
With what the OP is considering and the price is extremely right, check the front air bags for air and if it has after market coils without the airbags, so much the better. It most likely doesn't have auto park with that small of a chassis and sure to be less than 15K lbs. The manual park brake handle should verify that alone, but if a foot pedal it could be either. Check the DOT date on the tires, as replacing six at once isn't cheap, even with the Hercules brand on Amazon.
I'm assuming no slide, so even less to contend with. As for the narrow track, I consider that a plus in a lot of ways, except for it's looks if one wishes to stare down under. As for ours, nothing in it's class could possibly handle or ride any better with a lot of that credit going to National RV. Did have an 87 Pace Arrow once with the same chassis and although not as good, it did OK.
Next we'll be hearing about the kidney destroying ride of the older solid axle Ford F53's, along with their history of breaking manifold bolts on the 460 or how low powered the first little screaming V10's were and how they blew out spark plug holes with the list going on and on.
After it's all said and done there's a lot of happy owners out there and a lot of unhappy owners, that couldn't be happy with any make.
