Yes, But the in tank pump is still working, just doing it badly
an inline has to be designed for a certain amount of suction since it is not submerged in fuel,
at this point in time the inline will be working at zero suction and pushing out at maximum pressure, since the OEM pump will be supplying it
i can cruise with no problem, but acceleration, is tantamount to a steam car from the 1890s, (along with hesitation and backfires) because that requires way more fuel than maintaining a set speed
i know.. the OEM pump could totally fail at anytime ?
further Note: the nipples on the fuel filter are 5/16 ( i checked them with vernier caliper and a micrometer
I think i will take the filter to NAPA and a large local place (auto parts unlimited) and see if they can find me a pump with these same nipples, maybe summit racing has something
