The hose in the above link appears to be all you need to do. Way too easy compared to modifying other grills. If getting a long hose, I would suggest getting a 3/8" dia. hose rather than 1/4" so there's less pressure drop. Also, get a hose with the soft/flexible type outer jacket because they are much easier to handle and coil up.

Some grills, like the Coleman Roadtrip, have the regulator at the rear of the unit and you need to disassemble it and replace it with the right fittings. Had to drive all over town to 3 different shops to round up the pieces on ours...

I put a link in the first post. Yes. There is a regulator on the hose that came with it. But can I remove that hose, put on the quick connect hose I linked, and hook it into my trailers quick connect attachment?

I purchased one of these from CW. I have used other grills like you intend to do and all worked fine. I plugged it into my MH propane outlet on the exterior of my MH and used the same hose. the grill did not come with a regulator, nor did i need one as my MH propane tank had a regulator. I took it home, connected it and I did not get any propane coming out of the hose. I took it back to CW and was told the grill was a "low flow" grill and said it would not work. I don't know if this is accurate or not, but will go back to CW and talk to someone else to verify. I question this because i have used other grills without needing to worry about this "low flow" issue. Good luck.

Sorry. I have a 2005 Jayco 23b. It has a quick connect for the LP coming out the side of the trailer. Like for What would be a stove or a grill to hang on the side of the trailer. I would like to fit my little portable grill to use this connection because it would just be very nice and convenient.

I'm not looking to spend a bunch of money. He'll the grill was less than 100. I was hoping someone could recommend something easy that I could order online and fit to the grill. Like the hose I linked from Amazon in my last post.

Buddybar, I looked at all your posts and can't find out what type of RV you have, therefore, I'll assume you have a motorized rig. Many, but not all rigs have a Tee coming from the tank to the side for external grills. If this is the case you don't need to remove the regulator, in fact you need it.

If you have a tow behind and you have cylinders, you most likely have regulated LP already and all you need is the adaptor that replaces the grill regulator. There is a stock adaptor for almost all configurations.

Most supply houses have copies of the catalogs available, or try looking up MB Sturgis or Camco.

Your trailer propane has a regulator on the tanks. You do not want to use the regulator on your Sam's grill because double regulating means pressure will be to low. Stop by a shop that sells gas fireplace logs. They usually sell gas grills also. They will make you a new hose with the proper connects for about $35 to $50. Also the website for Calore sells parts and can help you. Lastly, I did a YouTube video for converting a weber Q1200 to onboard propane, just search for Q1200 convert.

Instead of changing the hose every time I would see if a propane place could make you up a hose that goes from your grill to a quick adapter. Then get a second adaptor and see if they can put that on a regulator. That way when your camping you just take the grills regulator outta the equation. At home keep the regulator attached for use with a regular propane tank.
