You don't need slides if the floor plan is good. I still love my 1988 Prevost and YES, the Prevost is WAY higher than a Monaco. Factory service from Prevost is available in CA, FL, TX (Houston and Dallas), TN and NJ for the chassis and most components.
No matter what, the floor plan is still most important. The nice part about a Prevost is that you can do multiple updates and upgrades and still have a robust and dependable coach for many years to come. We have over 350,000 miles on ours and we live full time and travel full time with the greatest confidence.
