Ocean Mist, it looks like there have been updates to the '96 Prevost. The choice is really a decision that only you can make.
The Prevost will go 2M miles with regular maintenance. The Executive is not too shabby either.
The Prevost has real front and rear bumpers and built with a solid cage. You are so close to the purchase of the Executive that the Prevost may slip through your fingers. You need to read on www.prevostcommunity.com for quite sometime for the desire to get into your blood.
Once you are hooked, you won't look back. I never regretted our Monaco purchase as it was an excellent first coach for us to learn. Moving up to a Prevost is a committment, it's not cheaper in maintenance, everything is a much higher quality.
The non-private toilet could be a deal breaker depending on your situation.
But don't forget, the beautiful moon while camping looks exactly the same whether you are in a tent or a Prevost.
Safe travels,

Yes, we are hooked already! Just a few minutes of talking with a salesman about the quality and how it drives... Superb!
He said while driving down the road you can leave a glass of water on the table and it will still be there as long as you don't slam on the brakes.
He went on to talk about the quality of the woods, and how the rounded pieces take a craftsman to make. He talked about the companies that did the conversion. The 1,000,000 mile motor. He said the Series 60 is a beast and pulls like a tank, while also being bullet-proof
And, the 20KW Generator!
I told him we like to pull off side of the road and fish. He said the fully electrical units will boondock for a good day before needing the Gen...
And that if you get a 45, you most likely will be going to RV parks exclusively...
Soon we will be ready for a Prevost, and when that time comes, I know who to ask ;)
We really liked that Prevost 40 footer, but it is already Sold.
Mike Brez---> Thanks for catching that. You are correct it's $129,000 But really, what's 50 large, when your talking about a Prevost...
The problem with the Prevost, is firstly that most of them are 45'.
Secondly, the ones we like are at least $400k
So, we will get the Monaco, and learn about exactly what we like, and soon we will be traveling to parts unknown to see and Learn about Prevost.
Curious, it seems like the Prevost community it bigger and more committed, than the Newell, to their respective coaches...
