Bill, there is nothing wrong with any floor plan if it works for the owner.

But, let me point out, I've never seen a house where you have to go through the bathroom from the bedroom to get the living room. Many 'stick and brick' baths don't have a separate toilet but the whole bathroom is not a 'hallway' to another room.

Again, nothing wrong with that if it works for you.
