1998 Beaver Patriot Thunder water heater switch

STILL HAVING TROUBLE LOCATING THE WATER HEATER SWITCH****This coach has a Seaward water heater, runs on electric. The heating system is a Hurricane and we have looked every where for the water heater switch. All we can find are Hurricane switches. There is a switch on the dash that says pre-heat but we think that might be for the diesel. We did not get much info when we bought this last Aug. So I am depending on those of you with the experience! Thanks for your help in advance. Donna

    Most in that time frame Beaver/Safari had a switch in the compartment outside with the water heater. Upper left corner if memory serves on our '99.

    My suggestion......locate wires on electric element and then trace them back to ON/OFF switch.
    As for the LP side........are you sure it operates on propane?
    Thought Seaward were electric and engine heat exchanger.

    Mine only runs on electric and there is no switch only the breaker in the closet.

    Try to take a look under the kitchen sink compartment. Many times they used to connect that switch down there loose on two wires.
