I've learned some good things from what I've read here on the forum and have reached what I think is a good conclusion. I'm going to look for a quality coach allowing me to test the motorhome water, so to speak, before jumping in with both feet and little knowledge.
I'm going to look for something in the 40'+ range like a 2000/2003 Beaver or later model Monaco Dynasty/Executive (yes Ivylog got to me) product. A quality motorhome that my wife and I can learn our way. In a nice older quality motorhome without investing a crazy amount of money!
I'm reasonably handy and feel I could deal with general maintenance. Plus I understand all I have to do is stand around my motorhome for 30 seconds with my hands on my hips and at least 25 people will come up asking what's wrong. :)
I think my wife and I will enjoy the experience and whats the worst that can happen? We've invested some time and some money and decide to go home and sell the coach! I think that's reasonable don't you?
