2 A/Cs

I have 2 A/Cs on my rig. I can run 1 at a time when on shore power by using a A/B switch and both when on the generator. My question is where and how is the done? At the convertor or in the control box. I am having a problem with my a/c and this maybe my problem. Thanks

Whatever the problem, the best way to mod the rear ac, is with a dual power adapter, so that you can run the rear ac on a separate pedestal circuit when on shore power, instead of the PITA procedure of switching back and forth.
The instruction manuals not only explain how to do this with whatever your setup might be, but also include diagrams showing the different versions and what you're now looking for.
PM me with an email addy and I'll send you a zip file with everything that I have on this.

You have a device called an Automatic Transfer Switch.

This selects either Generator OR shore power since if you try to run both at once bad things happen (So the switch selects one or the other based on if the generator is generting)

It also does the magic regarding the 2nd A/C.
