It won't be on a '98 chassis - not a chance. Way too many of those built to be on the old V8 chassis.
While generally considered a quality built unit, some had issues. In that time frame Winnie had issues with bad fiberglass roofs and delamination. Be sure to look very closely for signs of water leaks in the ceiling and delamination in the sidewalls. If either are going on bad things happen. Some were even known to blow off (1998-2000, with most being earlier rather than later). :E
