Ok. New starter and it is a little better. Starts on house batts. but still concerned, still slow. One interesting thing... I had house batts. disconnected for the weekend as I had the starter out on fri. but didn't put it in till sun. I checked the voltage of the two house batts separately and one was 12.5 and the other was 11.5 ish. I think I have a bad house battery. I did load test them and they tested ok but if a cell is bad it may be drawing from other battery. Going to take both to a local battery shop and have them checked. Hmm.
