2000 Winnebago front heat/AC problem

When I took my 2000 Winnebago on Ford chassis out of storage this year the front A/C vents are stuck in the def/floor position. Also the heat won't shut off causing the front A/C not to work. I am thinking it might be a vacuum issue but not sure. Has anyone else had this problem and if so where do I look to fix it? TIA

  • Don't mean to hijack this thread but does anybody have a service manual for the SCS hvac systems used in some motorhomes?

  • Or maybe this one. Click on"downloads" tab.

  • Its easiest to find when one person lies on the ground on the passenger side right under the door, and another person starts the coach, revs it, and then shuts it off. Listen for the hiss.
  • This is a common problem. Look for the vacuum canister under the passenger floorboard. It is likely cracked or has a broken T-connector in that part of the system.
  • Thanks for the help. I know I posted this question in 2 different places. I was thinking that there might be someone in one group that might have an answer and not see it in another area. I truly thank you for your help Second Chance.
