We had a 04 5th wheel bought new which we tried to physically wear out. After about 50,000 miles on 3 sets of tires and a few minor problems later, we traded it on a used motorhome in April.
We had looked at many used an new motorhomes and found most used ones looked really neglected. Many dealers didn't take the time to detail them or replace worn out or cracked tires. We found in our search that most Newmmar brands looked more upscale and seemed to be better taken care of.
We purchased a 2000 Newmar Mountain Aire DP in April with 97K miles. The counter top has a small crack that can be repaired and the leather furniture looks almost new. Original carpets are not worn and all systems work. It has been in use for 4 weeks and 2 weekends with 1,600 additional miles on it. Been to 3 State Parks, one COE park, 1 US Forestry Campground and a private facility. No problems so far.
