Howdy, I got an 2002 Ford V10 also. I am just sharing my experience here...Your issue may be different. I had one of the ign. coils fail. Coil on plug here so ther are 10. Mine would run but the idle was rough. I would imagine that if more than one coil failed (or was marginal) it might not start. Also I once had a starting / running problem that was because the Mass air flow sensor failed. Mice ate the air filter and the paper crumbs blocked against it.
