2002 p30 steering/brakes apply brakes steering kicks back

heated up my brakes to the point of melting the abs sensors. replaced pads and bleed system. Now when i apply brakes the steering kicks back. any ideas, could the heating or insufficient bleeding proc...

It could also be a brake not releasing (a sticky caliper if disc brakes, or the equivalent for drum brakes), which would make it pull all the time to one side but feel like it's pulling to the other side when the brakes are applied by comparison to the new "normal."
