Where possible, RV manufacturers try to run fresh water supply lines inside, rather than under the house, except where there is a heatable basement to enclose the plumbing. The Trail-Lite C was not in the heated basement class.
Thus you often see the water tank, and everything that uses water, on one side of the coach, so that the lines don't need to be run across. In my RV, where they do cross over, the run is made inside the structure of the floor, to keep from going underneath the floor. That might be where your original lines were run, inside the floor.
