So my mom had her battery stolen this winter in her Southwind. Now I have the wonderful task of helping her getting the chassis battery hooked up properly again. They took the positive cable as well, and now am left wondering how to hook up the remaining wires that are left over. Does anyone have a pic of their battery under the front access compartment and show the leads going to the Battery Control Center? Terminal labelled as "P13" on the BCC currently has nothing hooked up to it. I also have 3 heavy gauge wires that I'm not sure where they go, and 2 smaller gauge wires. Do I hook them up to the positive? Negative? Directly to the BCC or directly to the battery?
Any help would be fantastic!!
Steve
While you're trying to figure it out, use an ohmmeter to read each lead and any that you find that might have continuity to ground, don't hook it up to the +pos side.
This can be misleading and a chore at times with some circuits having such a low resistance that it will read 0 anyway.
