2004 coachman concord 235

I am new to this forum and also to RVing.
My husband and I are going to buy an RV to take short trips around FL.

We are thinking about a 2004 coachman concord 235.
Has anyone had one of these and/or have any comments on this RV?

Thank you.

  • I just bought a new coachmen 24 foot with a ford v10 no trade in it took three days but I stuck to the fact I would not pay more than 30 including tax tag everything the dealer finally gave in so it can be done to buy a new class C for under 35
  • The design of the Concord does have an advantage over the more "traditional" cabover Class C with the corner seams, so that eliminates a major source of leaks.
  • Thanks so much for the responses. It's a private owner on RV Trader, but he hasn't answered my email.
Being new to this RVing, and reading everything I can, I'm still confused as to what manufacturers are the best.
I have around 35 to spend, but wish I knew which brands were best. Any help would be great.

Like any used RV, LEAKS are the highest risk factor. See if you can get it pressure tested and watch the testing being done. If it's Ford or Chevy chassis, you're in good shape either way. I've only seen one Concord up close and as I recall it was attractive and well appointed.

Who's selling it? Some of the best deals quality-wise are private owners either changing lifestyles or up/downsizing. A "Love Coach" is a little hard to describe but you'll know one when you see it. Owner pride, Clean, Little upgrades, Sheltered storage, Complete service records. Some don't cost much more than those Ridden Hard & Put Away Wet.
  • Short tripper,
Welcome to the forum. I am not familiar with the Concord but I have a smallish RV and love to take short trips around Florida. I do it all winter long and then close up shop for 3 months in the summer - unless I decide to take a longer trip up in to the mountains to get away from the heat.
