2004 coachmen liberty, dumping tanks. help

first shakedown of the new to us Moho and I can't figure out how to dump the tanks without spilling it into the basement bay.
the dump valve attachment sets below the lip of the door so that the slinky hose has to bent up and over the lip. wlhen you detach the hose the waste water left in the low part of the hose spills into the bay. Is this a design flaw or am I doing something wrong?

There is a tube directly below it that looks like a sewer clean out on a toilet but it ends 2 inches befor the tail pipe. there is no way to attach anything to the end of it.

Is the "sewer cleanout screw cap" under the valve opening? if so can it be unscrewed and the stinky slinky dropped straight down.

  • are you sure there isn't a panel or something to swing out of the way to drop the hose straight down? if not it is a design flaw. can you post a picture?
