If you have Kwikee steps it is easy to get the schematic. Just Google, Kwikee Owners Manual 888. You can download the entire manual as a PDF and have almost everything there is to know about Kwikee steps.
They are now manufactured by PowerGear and will not talk to you so don't try. Chris does have all the stuff available and is really cool about sharing.
Eventually your lift motor is going to fail and I would make sure that I had the correct make and model number available when that happens. Auto part suppliers don't even know what type of motors are used in the steps. There have been several motors used so finding the correct motor "can" be a pain. You will find several posts that may or may not help you find the correct motor.
Good thought about being prepaired as the stupid steps quit in the most inopertune times.
