Correct me if I am wrong but I don't think the turbo resonator came with the Sprinter until the 2004 chassis year. I had a 2004 Sprinter chassis and drove 61,000 miles without ever having to replace the turbo resonator. I carried the after market metal one for many of those miles and it eventually went with the B.
