I was also thinking fuel filter - due to the lack of fuel pressure on both banks. My buddy always turns on the key, counts to about 15, for pressure to build up, and the engine cranks over much faster.
If you just turn on the key and crank, you will be 'cranking' about 3 seconds before fuel pressure builds and will not really start to fire until the fuel pressure is high enough anyway. I forget almost ever time to let it build fuel pressure first.
One of my work trucks - a 5.4L had a leak on a coolant line near a spark plug coil, and it shorted out that coil, and I had a mis-fire. I think it was a 2000 E-250 van. So if you ever have a bad coil pack, check it for coolant stains, and possible water leak shorting it out.
Good luck!
Fred.
